Make a list of items that you don’t want to forget. Write them down or note it down on your mobile. Week before is perfect and then you can update your list within that. This is to ensure that you will not miss any place to visit or thing to forget.

03. Don’t over plan your journey
Over planning will ruined your trip, sometimes it will put a great weight on your head. Let your days unfold naturally. Let the day fill as on your list. It will flow smoothly because you will automatically remember your listed items, things to do etc. Let the day to take you to the best way.

Easiest way to obtain updated data because they know about everything going on in town. They can point you to free activities, special events happening during your stay, and everything in between. Travel insurance is the most important thing in your journey. If something goes wrong, you don’t want to be out thousands of dollars in bills. It will be there if you get robbed, flights get cancelled, you get sick or injured, or have to be sent home. It’s comprehensive and, for just a few dollars a day.
06. Take pictures of your luggage & clothes
In case of an emergency, if your luggage gets lost then you have a proof. It will help you to identify and use as a proof to show the authorities. Another thing is when you reimburse your travel insurance the process become easier.
07. Pack light
Believe me and leave half of the clothes which you already packed. You won’t need as much as you think. As in 01. cut it in half and then only pack the essentials. It’s OK to wear the same t-shirt a few days since you can wash it and wear.

Maximum 70 liters is desirable. By purchasing a small backpack, it will be forced you to pack light. Avoid carrying too much stuff. You can take your camera bag and equipment in another.

In case you get robbed or lose your money, it’s always good to have a backup money source. I once lost my vault and had a bad nightmare in a strange city. Luckily, I had an extra card in my backpack. Keep in mind to keep your extra card separately.
11. Always use a lock
When you stay in dorms, airbnbs, as a hobbit put a lock on your stuffs. Carry a small combination lock or use a luggage, backpack which came with a lock.
12. Take only a desirable amount as pocket money
Limit the amount of cash and bank cards you carry. If something does happen, you can easily recover. Take one credit/debit card with you. It will also help you to limit your unnecessary spending.
13. Carry a basic first-aid kit
Few first-aids like band-aids, antibacterial cream, and ointments for minor cuts and scrapes will help you as a little doctor. You never know when you’re going to need it. Sometimes it will hard to find out some first-aid when you need it. So be prepared. Take extra face masks and sanitizers too.
14. Stay in hostels
The main advantage is meet new people. Also they are cheap, organize events, and you can share your experience too. Plus, hostel bars sell cheap beer.
15. Be open to strangers
Say hi to people on the road share your smile. Turn strangers into friends. You just might make some lifelong friends all around the world. Isn’t that a good thing?

Most famous restaurants offer lunch specials featuring for a cheap amount. That’s the best time to eat out when you travel, The lunch.
20. Be Thankful
Sometimes you may probably face a language barrier when you deal with locals. They are willing to help you out, if you don’t act respectfully, you’ll end up just looking like an asshole. So be humble and get their help.
